1. Our Commitment

WallpapersUnlimited.ca is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people of all abilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying relevant accessibility standards to ensure we provide equal access to all users, regardless of their abilities or the assistive technologies they use.

2. Accessibility Standards

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities, including visual, auditory, physical, speech, cognitive, language, learning, and neurological disabilities.

3. Measures Taken

We have taken the following measures to ensure accessibility on our website: providing semantic HTML structure throughout the site, ensuring all images have descriptive alternative text, maintaining sufficient color contrast ratios between text and background colors, supporting keyboard navigation for all interactive elements, and using ARIA labels where appropriate to enhance screen reader compatibility.

4. Keyboard Navigation

Our website supports full keyboard navigation. Users can navigate through all interactive elements using the Tab key, activate buttons and links using the Enter key, close modal overlays using the Escape key, and navigate through the image gallery using arrow keys. We strive to ensure that all functionality is accessible without the use of a mouse.

5. Visual Design

Our website employs a high-contrast dark theme that provides clear visual distinction between text, interactive elements, and backgrounds. We use a minimum contrast ratio of 4.5:1 for normal text and 3:1 for large text. Our design avoids relying solely on color to convey information, ensuring content is accessible to users with color vision deficiencies.

6. Images and Media

All wallpaper images on our website include descriptive alternative text that identifies the city and scene depicted. Decorative images are marked appropriately so that screen readers can skip them. We ensure that no content relies solely on visual presentation to convey its meaning or function.

7. Forms and Interactive Elements

All form fields on our website include descriptive placeholder text and are properly labeled for assistive technologies. Error messages and success confirmations are communicated clearly through text. Interactive elements such as buttons, links, and filters provide visible focus indicators to support keyboard navigation.

8. Responsive Design

Our website is designed to be fully responsive and functional across a wide range of devices and screen sizes, from desktop computers to mobile phones. Content reflows appropriately at different viewport widths, and all features remain accessible regardless of the device being used. We support zoom levels up to 200% without loss of content or functionality.

9. Known Limitations

While we strive for full accessibility, some content may have limitations. Certain third-party advertising content may not meet our accessibility standards, as we do not have full control over externally served advertisements. We are working with our advertising partners to improve the accessibility of served content.

10. Feedback and Contact

We welcome your feedback on the accessibility of WallpapersUnlimited.ca. If you encounter any accessibility barriers or have suggestions for improvement, please contact us at: . We aim to respond to accessibility feedback within 5 business days and to resolve reported issues as quickly as possible.
